- Offence
- On a night shift at an aged care facility between 3 and 4 November 2018 she showed two colleagues a video of an adult man sexually abusing an infant, which she had received on a WhatsApp group. Both colleagues said they were 'significantly traumatised'; they helped her delete it and reported it. Investigated by police; no charges laid. Professional misconduct.
- Outcome
- Reprimanded; conditions for four months (education programs and a reflective practice report). No suspension. The Board's earlier immediate suspension was revoked on appeal. SACAT accepted she found the video abhorrent and had no intention to harm, and decided suspension was not needed. Police did not charge her.
